Walks and Paper

We went for a walk this past Saturday. Joseph loves being outside and especially loves riding in the backpack for long walks. We did the usual of looping around to see the cows and hunting for asparagus. Midway through the walk I felt Joseph lean against my neck. I soon realized that he was asleep. When we got back I managed to change his diaper and put him into his bed. I left his hat on because woke up when I tried to take it off.

Cats love toliet paper rolls and so do babies. I was doing laundry. Joseph stayed with me for a little while, but eventually got bored. I can't say that I blame him for not wanting to watch me fold clothes. He banged containers in the kitchen for a little while and then went to explore the rest of the house. At some point he found his way into my bathroom. Normally he crawls into the shower and slaps the floor. Today he decided to investigate the toliet paper roll and discovered that this roll actually unrolled when he spun it unlike the other rolls that are turned so that they won't spin.

Shane decided that Joseph needed to practice being a parrot, so he propped him up on my shoulder and then told him that he was a parrot.  Although he kept sliding off, he thought being a parrot was great.

Additionally Joseph also likes holding cold things.  For example, Aunt Rachel handed him her Dr. Pepper and then refused to give it back.
